Workshop descriptions:
Zillpower: getting the most from your zills with Jenna
People think zills are easy little instruments, and students of oriental dance often find them difficult. In this unique workshop you will learn all the little things that add up to improved and more consistent sound quality, improved technical control and greater ease in playing while dancing. This workshop will transform your zillwork.
For all levels and dance styles.
Dancing with Zills: finding the Edge in your zillwork with Jenna
Oriental dancers of all levels face the challenge of dancing and playing music at the same time. The key to successful practice of zillwork with dance is to target specific areas of difficulty. In this workshop you will learn how to find your Edge in any area of zillwork, and begin learning the Nur Method of focused, coordinated practice. You'll get something you can really use, to improve more quickly and enjoy playing and dancing more! For all levels and dance styles.
